Sunday, March 6th is All Elite Wrestling’s Revolution. I say this every single pay per view, but it might be their biggest show yet. With every single PPV, I must speculate to what will happen! It’s time for Game Over Guesses!

This Game Over Guesses will be slightly different. Going forward I’ll be competing with my Wife as to who’s the best guesser in the house. She’s only a casual fan that only kind of pays attention, but I’m really bad at guessing! It should be fun regardless! We’ll only be doing the main card.

HOOK vs. QT Marshall

HOOK is one of the fastest rising stars that I can remember in Pro Wrestling. Everything about him, from his aura to in-ring ability, is fantastic. QT Marshall is a gnat that HOOK will swat to start the “Buy-In” off on a great foot. The Factory probably gets involved at some point, but HOOK will take them out as well.

Kris Statlander vs. Leyla Hirsch

This feud has exceeded my expectations. Both ladies have ran with what they’ve been given, despite not appearing on television all that often. I wish we could have seen more of it on Dynamite or Rampage, but this bout should be a good one. I’m not sure where either lady goes after this fight, so I think I’m going for the underdog to continue the feud. Hirsch wins by nefarious means to escalate the feud.

Trios match: Death Triangle vs. House of Black

This feud has been equal parts awesome and awkward. It hasn’t been cohesive throughout, but the matches have been fun. Last night on Rampage, Erik Redbeard debuted to even the odds for Death Triangle. Now there was a last minute addition to the Buy-In card with Death Triangle taking on House of Black. This one is about as coin flip as a coin flip can get. One would think the debuting Buddy Matthews picks up the victory, but what about the Mr. Brodie Lee’s best friend Erik Redbeard? One thing we can absolutely count on? This match is going to be awesome.

Face of the Revolution Ladder Match

The show will start off strong with a multi-man match, so why not one of the most anticipated matches on the card? Here are the participants:

  • Wardlow
  • Keith Lee
  • Powerhouse Hobbs
  • Ricky Starks
  • Orange Cassidy
  • Christian Cage
  • Joker?

I put “Joker” as a question because I truly do not know if there’s a seventh entrant. If there is it will be a surprise return or currently established AEW roster member. I’m going with Dante Martin to equalize Team Taz.

The winner, however, will finally have his moment in the sun. This is finally the time to strap a rocket on this guy’s back and watch the crowd erupt every time a Powerbomb Symphony is conducted. The winner, and next TNT Champion, is Wardlow.

Wifey: Ricky Starks

Jade Cargill vs. Tay Conti

Jade Cargill prints money, Tay Conti is beloved, and they should have a fantastic match. This should be Jade’s best effort to date because of her competition. Conti is a fantastic complement to Jade’s strength. Unfortunately for the Brazilian martial artist, Jade has no business losing yet. Her winning streak is going strong and isn’t ending here.

Wifey: Jade Cargill

Tornado Trios: AHFO vs. Sting/Darby Allin/Sammy Guevara

I do not understand why this match is happening. Sammy, Darby, and Andrade put on a fantastic triple threat match this week on Rampage, but what was the point of adding this to Revolution? I assume to add star power, but maybe there’s some story to tell. Darby Allin and Sammy Guevara did not end the triple threat match on good terms. Could add some fun story beats for the match. Regardless, I don’t see any way that Sting, Darby, and Sammy are losing. The match should be a blast though.

Wifey: Sting/Darby/Sammy

Jon Moxley vs. Bryan Danielson

Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson have told an intriguing story headed into Revolution. They are testing each other by giving everything they have, including pints of blood. After this and the Dog Collar match, AEW Doctors better be prepared for some blood transfusions. Moxley’s first big match after his stint away probably won’t end in a loss. I do believe we’ll see Moxley unleash an evil side and join Danielson.

Wifey: Moxley

AEW Women’s Championship: Dr. Britt Baker DMD (c) vs. Thunder Rosa

What has happened to this title reign? Britt Baker is ice cold headed into her toughest challenge to date. Rosa and Britt had one of the best matches of 2021 and I don’t even know what’s happening in this feud. Britt hired Mercedes Martinez to take out Rosa, but everything else has been mired in random backstage segments and awkward tag matches. It is Thunder Rosa’s time and I truly hope she has more than five televised matches in four months. Not sure why All Elite Wrestling felt that was the best use of Britt Baker’s last few title months…

Wifey: Thunder Rosa

Tag Championship: Jurassic Express vs reDRagon vs. Young Bucks

Jurassic Express stood tall during the last moments of Rampage. Conventional wrestling logic usually dictates that being a death knell on a title run. I don’t know if I see this match ending that way. The Young Bucks and reDRagon have a complicated relationship. Nobody knows if they’re actually friends or are plotting the other’s demise. I think they fracture during this match and Jurassic Express take advantage to retain their titles. The Elite formulate two separate factions which lead into Blood and Guts in a month or so.

Wifey: Jurassic Express

Eddie Kingston vs. Chris Jericho

The feud between Eddie Kingston and Chris Jericho has exceeded my expectations tenfold. Three months ago I was begging for Jericho to take a wrestling break. He proceeds to go into a program with Eddie Kingston, Santana, and Ortiz that I have loved. Jericho has shifted his attitude of late as well with cocky heel persona reminiscent of early Le Champion days. Does Le Champion return to take out Kingston, or does Eddie overcome his PPV drought to beat the inaugural champ?

I would LOVE to see Kingston pull out a victory here. This match is a coin flip in my eyes, but I think I’m going to go with Jericho. It wouldn’t be a popular booking decision, but I think the wild cards are Santana and Ortiz. The Inner Circle members seemingly reconciled this past week on Dynamite. Maybe I’m being worked, but perhaps Santana and Ortiz screw Kingston. This is the pick I’m least confident in.

Wifey: Eddie Kingston

Dog Collar Match: CM Punk vs. MJF

Tony Khan always books the AEW World Championship matches as the main events of PPV’s. If any match deserves it over Hangman and Cole, it’s this one. This feud has been brilliant. It’s one of the best feuds in AEW history. I would assume a match as brutal as a dog collar match would put a nice and bloody cap on an amazing story. That means CM Punk should overcome MJF in a probably bloodbath.

Wifey: MJF

AEW Championship: ‘Hangman’ Adam Page (c) vs. Adam Cole

Our Revolution main event between ‘Hangman’ Adam Page and Adam Cole should be a phenomenal finish to a phenomenal Pay-per-View. The match should be a great one, however the finish is the easiest one for me to predict. Everyone’s loveable cowboy isn’t losing. I love Adam Cole, but he’s going to be on the ass end of a Buckshot Lariat to culminate a fantastic match.

Wifey: Hangman Adam Page
